Q: How do I get around on your site?

A: You can either use the links at the bottom of the page, or you can click on the menu icon on the top right of your screen to open the menu overlay. To close the overlay, simply click the "X" symbol. Why not try that now so you're familiar with it?

Q: I notice your online store uses BigCartel and Stripe for payment processing. Can you tell me a bit about them? Are they secure?

A: Big Cartel is one of the Internet's largest, and most secure shopping cart providers. They have been featured in Forbes (click here to read the article) and other major financial publications. They provide the shopping cart software which allows you to select products and add them to your shopping basket. Stripe is the actual payment processing company which handles the Credit Card processing. They have also been widely featured in Forbes magazine, and a quick Google search on the two words "Stripe" and "Forbes" in the same search field will yield a large number of great Forbes articles regarding Stripe. Together, BigCartel and Stipe form an extremely secure payment processing environment that is trusted by millions of major vendors around the world.

Q: How do I complete a purchase from the store?

A: Here are the steps:

  1. Add an item to your shopping basket by clicking "add to cart."
  2. You will see little cart window open on the upper right to let to confirm it's been added.
  3. Continue shopping as before (or skip to the next step).
  4. When ready, simply click the basket icon on the upper right. At the bottom of that little window, click "view your basket".
  5. In the window that opens, you can review items in your basket. Once satisfied, click "checkout"
  6. You will then be taken to the BigCartel secure checkout area to add your details and complete the transaction. This is a secure area, and you will see the lock icon in your browser confirming it.
  7. That's it! Your product will be delivered instantly via a link sent to the email you entered when checking out. Just click that link when you're ready to begin your download.

Q: What format are your song files delivered in?

A: When you purchase songs, they are delivered to your email automatically the moment you complete the purchase. The song files are in high quality (256) MP3 format. This is a very high quality MP3. Most people can't tell the difference between a 256 MP3 and a CD even on the most high-end audio equipment.

Q: Can I leave you a tip and make a donation to your efforts?

A: Yes. If you feel the work I'm doing is important, and you'd like to help in that effort, there is a tip jar. Simply click the "leave a tip" link at the bottom of the page, or on the menu overlay described in the first question at the top of this page. Your tips are extremely helpful and very much appreciated.

Q: Can I make monthly donations to you and have them automatically charged to my credit card?

A: Unfortunately, that functionality isn't available at the moment through Big Cartel. I've received this request often, and I'm looking into ways to make it available, but at the moment it's not. Once I've found a solution, I'll let you know via my announcement list. Meanwhile, please consider giving a one-time donation. Your donations help level out some of the bumps in the road that are so often encountered by people like myself who live from our art. Thank you in advance for even considering it. 

Q: Do you accept international orders?

A: Yes! Since the products are digital downloads, they can be ordered from anywhere in the world and they are delivered to you instantly via download link to your email address.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?

A: Yes! Having trouble with your checkout, or is something not working? Please contact me at this link.

Q: Do you accept PayPal?

A: No. Unfortunately I don't. The Big Cartel shopping cart requires I use either PayPal, or a standard payment gateway. I chose Stripe because it's far superior to PayPal in my opinion.

Q: Do you accept refunds?

A: Since all products are digital, I don't. If there's a problem with your order, please let me know via the contact form at this link so I can get it sorted out right away. Any problem with your order please contact me.

Q: What do you do with my email address after I join the email announcement list?

A: I do only one thing with your email address: I send you announcements from time to time regarding my projects... nothing else. Your email is not used for any other purpose whatsoever, and is not shared at any time with any third party. Period. I will never share or sell your personal information to any third party.
